Who is Johnny Chan?
Yeah, maybe you're asking yourself and someone else who is he. Sounds like an Asian right? But guess what, he's really an Asian. One of the first Asian poker players who succeeded the poker tables and rooms at the poker industry and the WSOP. Born in Guangzhou, China, in the year 1957, he is currently living at Las Vegas Nevada along with his family, and as a professional poker player. When they have transferred to Las Vegas, Chan was presumed to own their family business restaurants. But at an early age, Chan dropped out of college while studying and majoring in Hotel and Restaurant Management. That was the time when he moved to Las Vegas and become a professional gambler.

Johnny Chan has a total of around 70 cashes, over $6 million winnings, 13 first place finishers, and has won the WSOP Main Event in two consecutive years. Just after winning his two consecutive WSOP Titles, he then became a legend in poker. As a matter of fact, his final hands were featured in a movie Rounders in the year 1988. Known as a very skillful poker player, he is also recognized being like the “Texas Dolly” Doyle Brunson, having 10 WSOP bracelets. As of now, their record breaking titles has already been passed by Phil Hellmuth, having his 11th WSOP Bracelet.
