Daniel Negreanu, also known as "Kid Poker" was born July 26, 1974 in the region of Toronto, Ontario Canada. He first dreamed to be a snooker player when he was 15 years old, until he learned how to play poker. When he was studying, he couldn't support anymore his schooling. So he decided to drop out of school and began his life as a rounder player at some local charity casinos where he first played. One of these casinos that he first played at is Casino Country.
When he entered the age of 16, Daniel found his own interest in gambling and pool hustling. Because of his skill in numbers and probability, it sparked his love for playing and his competitiveness as well. He played poker in full time with his opponents twice his age, and win various games against them. Because of his talent and skill, he wins on a consistent basis until his own bankroll grew.
When he entered the age of 21, Daniel already took the money he earned and tried his skills in playing poker against the finest players in Las Vegas. On his first try, he returned home losing but still determined. About a few months and years of building another bank roll, he tried his skill again in playing against Las Vegas players. But then was again push back home with nothing.
When his father passed away, Daniel already build up another round of determination by having the true skills in beating the tables at Las Vegas until he finally made it to his dream of becoming a professional poker player.
